Maggey Gumshoe (Byrde is her maiden name) was once a Blue Badger for the Blue Badger Corps nicknamed the Pink Badger. She is an unlucky optimistic officer who now assists in running the Blue Badger Corps of today.

Maggey loves weenies. She just can't get enough of their thick, juicy goodness.

Maggey is easily excited and, despite her best efforts to help people, she must rely on friends around her to lend her assistance in her frequent times of woe and need. She can easily become angry or depressed whenever she realizes that she's messed up, due to her constant bad luck streak. Being in the police force, she looks up to her superiors and sometimes puts them on a pedestal unintentionally.

Maggey is trained in self defense. One of her few "trademark moves" is the Maggey Kick.

- A retired Blue Badger like herself. The two are now married and work to continue on the Blue Badger Corps together.

- Dustin Prince
- Her late former boyfriend. Although they were many years apart in age she still cared for him deeply. After his death she discovered the Blue Badger Corps and forced her way into becoming the new Blue Badger after Gumshoe.
- Ema Skye
- The current Blue Badger. Although Ema is known for her foul moods, Maggey is still close to her as both a coworker and a friend. She hopes to break down the cold barriers that surround Ema.
