Machi Tobaye is a mysterious young orphan who seems hardened and skillful beyond his years. Even at his age, his skill with gunplay is unparalleled. He seeks the Borginian Cocoon for unknown reasons.

An orphan born and raised in Borginia, Machi speaks very little English.

Machi is actually quite stoic, and there are few who know him very well. He appears to be headstrong and stubborn to a lot of people, but this is mostly due to language barriers; when on the job, Machi usually does not want to waste time trying to understand people's words. Much of Machi's short life revolves around his performance as a hero, and it shows in his decisive actions and dedication to his duty.
[edit] Powers and Abilities
The presence of supernatural abilities is debatable, but Machi has finely attuned senses that grant him unrivaled talent for gunplay at his age, possibly rivaling older, more accomplished individuals such as Lady Sakai and Dusk. His uncanny gift for trick shots catches most foes off guard, and his knowledge of firearms is such that he can even anticipate incoming fire, literally dodging bullets. He leaves much to desire in close combat, however, as his physical strength is comparatively low; he does, however, possess an unwavering endurance for wielding his trademark twin automatic pistols, Mari and Mibelle.
Given his talent with firearms, it's natural to assume Machi could eventually master the Fingerbang.

It is currently unknown with whom or what Machi works, but his drive to collect the Borginian Cocoons that have escaped Borginia hint at a connection to Interpol or the Borginian government.

Machi is an orphan with no known siblings. The fates of his parents are unknown, not that he has had much time or visible inclination to care.

- Would be just another villain to Machi, but they have a conflicting interest in Borginian Cocoons, causing them to cross paths and exchange blows often. When the sharkman's need for atrocinine gets desperate, he will reluctantly cooperate with the young hero to pursue the lost cocoons.
