Lydia Cadaverini, also known by her alias of CosStar, is a professional cosplayer and actress with the curious ability to gain superpowers depending on the costume she wears, effectively mimicking other people or characters. For the most part, she uses it for performance, but has recently considered becoming a full-fledged superhero.

Lydia learned much of what she knows about superhero costume design from Victor Kudo.
A professional cosplay model, Lydia regularly shows up at regional anime and video game conventions as CosStar. She is also a professional theater actress.

Lydia is a hyperactive and bubbly person. Some people find it hard to like her distinctly over-cheery demeanor, and she tends to be a bit dorky when it comes to her favorite anime and conventions. She's easily distracted by things of interest to her, and is exceedingly enthusiastic in all her endeavors. She can also be very stubborn when it comes to friends; if one gets hurt, she’ll feel the need to stay behind and help, even if the best choice would be to go on.
Lydia is very close to her family, despite seeming to live in a completely different world. After the loss of Viola's parents, she is afraid of ever losing anyone. She is painfully aware that her inclinations often put her on a very different path than what is expected of a Cadaverini, and is unsure of what she would do if forced to choose between them.

Like anyone in the Cadaverini bloodline, Lydia is trained in witchcraft, though her hobbies and acting career take up more of her attention.
Lydia possesses the unique superpower to mimic the powers of other people by cosplaying as them. These imitated superpowers are never as strong as the originals, but the more accurate her costume, the more powerful she will be. Her indecision or over-excitement usually leads to her choosing the wrong type of costume for the situation at hand. Because her powers rely on the accuracy of her costume, if it's damaged in any way her power diminishes proportionally; on the bright side, it makes for some great clothing damage fanservice (and this happens more often than she would like to admit).
While we're on the subject of costumes, Lydia's cosplay powers are greatly supplemented by the accuracy with which she can produce and arrange various outfits, including props. In addition to this, she was also trained in the art of superweaving by Victor Kudo; her superhero costumes are relatively authentic as a result. Her accurate costumes, supplemented by her passion for theater, make her an extraordinary cosplayer.

- Lydia's grandfather and the most powerful man in the Mafia, who would react badly to knowing she is close to a Gavin. For the most part, he is befuddled by Lydia's nature.

- Lydia's cousin, who has taken more to the dark mafiosa life than Lydia. Lydia is one of the few things that make Viola honestly smile, and she is actually quite supportive of Lydia finding her own way in the world.
