Luke Atmey, better known as the Eccentrist, is a rogue genius that uses his vast intelligence and technical knowledge to invent tools and weapons for the highest bidder, often catering to the needs of superpowered individuals. He owns the Suvari Corporation.

Luke Atmey is blessed with narcissism, thinking the world of himself and utterly convinced that few, if any, people can match his level of grandeur, his mastery of invention, and depth of cunning. Naturally, he is utterly befuddled when things don't go according to plan, but this only drives him to further prove himself. His tendency for monologue is a weakness, as his constant braggadocio can often reveal his plans.
Luke works only for himself, maintaining a neutral, mercenary stand in the greater scheme of things. He has a sort of code of honor that he holds himself to, looking down on blackmail and betrayal, as these are the sorts of behaviors that could put his clients, and his business, at risk.
He tends to speak in an overly sophisticated and eloquent manner.

Although not blessed with any supernatural abilities, Luke Atmey has a wealth of scientific and technical knowledge under his belt, as well as keen experience as a private investigator. Much of his creativity goes towards developing various devices and inventions for his own curiosity and entertainment, as well as contractual work for a spectrum of clients.

- Luke Atmey's ideal partner, but one who exists only in his mind.

- A hired henchwoman and part-time clumsy assistant. Easy on the eyes, not so much on his patience.
- Billy Bob Johns aka Tuxedo Max
- Regina's sidekick, also a hired henchman working for Atmey and, while not as clumsy as Regina, is just as self-absorbed.
- Le Comte du Café Cristo
- One of Luke's best business partners, who pays top dollar for Luke's inventions.

- Atmey often calls upon the fallen detective for background checks on would-be clients and business associates.
