[edit] Heroes

The heroes of Super Makoto:

Makoto Ese
Super Makoto. The star of Super Makoto. Gifted with Power Perfect, her Inspiration lets her bend and break the border between reality and imagination, summoning things into existence or creating portals to Artspace. She works on art projects and murals for local schools.
Wocky Kitaki
The incredibly unremarkable boy and childhood friend of Makoto. Child of a "retired" yakuza clan, but he tries hard to keep the image of a "gangsta" lifestyle and gets in scuffles on the street. His girlfriend, Alita Tiala, does her best to keep him on a leash.
Dream Warrior
A sentient plush doll created by Franziska and Adrian to watch over Makoto. It is unable to move or communicate unless in the presence of intense levels of Power Perfect. Makoto has kept it with her since childhood and carries it protectively with her everywhere.
Apollo Justice
Apollo Justice. After discovering his inherited power as a descendant of Spartan heroes, he fights for justice in and out of the courthouse. His ordainment by the Olympian pantheon allows him to summon an array of mythical relics into battle, and his battle cry possesses unmatched volume.
Trucy Wright
Trumpcard. A bright teenage girl and expert magician that uses dazzling tricks and illusions to outwit evildoers when she should be doing her homework. Adopted by Phoenix Wright, she has no idea of the grand magical tradition she will inherit from her parents...
Pearl Fey
Pink Princess. A seventeen year old high school student and disciple of the famed Steel Samurai. Seperated from the Fey family during Kurain's destruction, Pearl has been taken under the wing of Will Powers. Attends Ivy High School and gets into frequent fights with wanna-be superhero, Cody Hackins. Fights evildoers as the Pink Princess and wields the blue Magatama.
Cody Hackins
A superhero fanboy and high school otaku. He aspires to be a hero like the Steel Samurai, even though he has no natural superpowers and only has self-taught fighting skills and a beam katana he won in at a convention raffle. He teases girls and gets into fights for fun. Pearl Fey ranks number 1 in his book.
Konrad Gavin
Rocktra. As a man, he is a prosecutor and head of the Gavinners with his best friend, Daryan. However, he can change into Rocktra, a truly outrageous rock goddess who fights with electric shockwaves of sound, music and light. Sometimes partners up with her best friend and fangirl, Lydia. Rocktra's musical career outshines that of the Gavinners, which Daryan resents deeply.
Lydia Cadaverini
CosStar. A professional cosplayer with the ability to mimic superpowers, given an accurate costume. She uses it for performance, but has recently considered becoming a superhero. Often picks the wrong costume for the situation. A show biz natural, and BFFs with Konrad Gavin's alter-ego, Rocktra.
Phoenix Wright
Hobocop. A former military special operative of Grossberg's unit. After the failed operation known as the Borginia Incident, he was rebuilt into a cyborg with an extensive supply of tools and weapons at his disposal. When not looking after his adopted daughter, Trucy, he patrols the city and keeps it safe from crime. DVD-R/W+ and Blu-Ray compatible.
Miles Edgeworth
The Edge. The feared "Demon Prosecutor" ruthlessly fights crime in the courtroom, whereas his werewolf alter ego stalks evildoers in the dark of night.
Ema Skye
The Blue Badger. A police detective and amateur scientist, also assigned the role of the secret police agent, "the Blue Badger." She originally wanted to do forensic investigation, but with all the special SCIENCE! and technology she has access to, she can't complain. Uses her scientific knowledge to aid prosecutor Miles Edgeworth in and out of the courtroom.
Machi Tobaye
El Mariachi Machi. A young gunslinger known for the distinctive "barking" sound of his bullets: AY AY AY AY! Seeking Borginian Cocoons for some unknown purpose. No does speka English.

[edit] Villains

The villains of Super Makoto:

Kristoph Gavin
Sadistress. A devious defense attorney with a God complex and the power to change into his feminine alter ego, Sadistress. Unmatched in physical strength (and proportions), this hedonistic villain traipses about town, employing violence and intimidation when not manipulating courtroom rules.
Manfred von Karma
Emperor Manfred von Karma. A mastermind and self-proclaimed ruler of his "perfect" empire, he seeks to enslave the entire world using his Power Perfect. Despite insurrections led by his former lieutenant, Celeste Inpax, and his own daughter, Franziska, he continues to sway or recruit other villains to his cause.
Juan Corrida
General Gitaroo. General of Emperor von Karma's military forces, he is a man to be feared or revered. Despite his skewed moral compass, one good eye, and obvious old age, do not underestimate his abilities—especially when it comes to Gitaroo shreddin'. Executed his wife, Celeste Inpax, and is the "long-lost" adopted father of Adrian Andrews.
Morgan Fey
Bitter and begrudging, she is tired of life as part of the Fey Branch Family and now seeks to control as much of dormant spiritual energy as possible. She is currently in search of the three Magatamas, and has employed her elder daughters Dahlia and Iris Fey to assist her, also employing Mimi Miney as a spy and assassin. Besides that, she is currently searching for any possible trace of her missing (and supposedly dead) daughter, Pearl Fey.
Dahlia Fey
Professional Bad Girl and a master with swords and manipulation. She possesses the red magatama, obtained after killing her cousin Mia Fey, and uses it to enhance her dormant spiritual energy. Works for her mother, Morgan Fey, along with her sister Iris.
Iris Fey
Professional Goody-Two-Shoes Girl. Lacking physical strength, spiritual energy and evil, she makes up for her inabilities with wisdom and love towards all things. Despite her mother's terrible resentment towards her and Dahlia, she hopes that being around her sister will eventually influence Dahlia to change her ways. Good luck with that, Iris.
Damon Gant
The Fiddler. Formerly posing as a hero and the leader of SL-6, Lighting, he is now a major supervillain and considers himself an enemy to all heroes, and superheroism as a whole. He fights with sticky tentacles and stinging shocks of electricity, like a giant evil jellyfish in orange and green spandex.
Angel Starr
Vision. Formerly a hero of team SL-6. One of her eyes is blessed with extraodinary visions, and the other has a powerful gaze that can dominate the mind and body. After the supposed death of teammate Bruce Goodman, she turned away from justice and became a queen among crime lords. She has minions, better known as her 'boyfriends'.
Hotti
The lead director at Holy Trinity Hospital. Though at first he appears to merely be a withered old man, he is in truth a brilliant and disturbing mad scientist. His experiments turn men into monsters. He is fond of anatomy and has a photographic memory for faces.
Alita Tiala
Cold Killer X. Brains, beauty, a directorate position at Holy Trinity, martial arts skills, well-laid plans for treachery against her coworkers, and a relationship with Wocky that lets her keep close, seemingly innocuous tabs on Makoto... this girl's got it all.
Daryan Crescend
Hairaiser. A rogue villain who fights with his mutated hair, which is a weapon, an extension of his body, and a threat to his own health. Also known for his keen senses and distrusting nature. He seeks Borginian Cocoons and holds a grudge against the doctors of Holy Trinity. Plays guitar in Konrad's band, the Gavinners.
Mimi Miney
Mime. Wearing the Mime Demon Mask, she has the power to shapeshift into other people, mimicking their appearances but not their abilities. Also highly agile and trained in martial arts. She used to work at Holy Trinity, before being "killed" by the good doctors. Currently works with Morgan Fey.
Redd White
Character under development.
April May
A nurse at Holy Trinity Hospital. She reports to Redd White, and is in charge of monitoring and maintaining the experiments of the genetic super soldier project. She is trained in martial combat and teaches fighting at the hospital. She developed a maternal instinct towards the first of the experiments, Daryan.
Furio Tigre
Tigre. Take a tiger, stir in Phoenix Wright's DNA and a twist of genetic supersoldier powers, and what do you get? Tigre, the powerful shapeshifting pet of Holy Trinity. He's not quite the perfect soldier, but he's loyal and good for doing their gruntwork.
Matt Engarde
Repast. "Refreshing as a spring breeze," this pretty boy has made himself famous as a smiling, mild-mannered television heartthrob. However, the doctors at Holy Trinity have given him a second side as a living mutant weapon, and the finest of their super-soldier experiments.
Bruto Cadaverini
Character under development.
Viola Cadaverini
Belladonna. Beloved granddaughter of Bruto. With her witchcraft, she manipulates fire and has made an intelligent plant to protect her, Charley.
Dee Vasquez
Character under development.
Regina Berry
Lucky. A former child star with beautiful, dazzling, and overly sparkly attacks. After her show was canceled, she strayed from the path of justice and now works as a henchman for Luke Atmey. She is assisted by her faithful tiger companion, Regent, and costar Tuxedo Max.
Billy Bob Johns
Tuxedo Max. Former sidekick to Regina Berry who would follow her to the ends of the earth: he's the Darien to her Serena, and unfortunately for both them, the James to her Jessie. A wonderful showman who mastered flight and is working on making himself useful otherwise. Also employed by Luke Atmey.
Regent
Regina's current "guide". A dark-hearted tiger who manipulates her actions.
Sal Manella
The Guildmaster. The Otaku King, who knows everything about nothing. With his treasure trove of trivia and ultimately unfulfilling hobbies, he leads a horde of geeky yes-men and supplicants as a rabid band of profit-seeking marauders. Roll initiative.

[edit] Neutrals

The other people in Super Makoto, including those partially or completely retired from the fight, support teams for active supers, vigilantes and rogues, and people who can't make up their minds about good or evil:

Drew Ese
Makoto's beleaguered adoptive father, charged with raising and looking after her when the evil Manfred von Karma began hunting down her parents. An artist in his own right, it is largely his sense of honor, justice, and love for all things beautiful that instilled Makoto with her heroic spirit.
Franziska von Karma
Rebellious daughter of Emperor von Karma and mother of the heroine Makoto. She uses a form of Power Perfect called HAX, allowing her to modify the laws of physics to her own choosing, and fights with various weapons including her trusty laser whip. She sometimes takes the pseudonym Cindy Stone as she travels through time and space, accompanied by her partner in love and war, Adrian.
Adrian Andrews
Pulsar. Partner of Franziska von Karma, in battle and in love. Can generate explosions of energy, controlling her output using the "Pulsar Suit". As a young girl she was adopted by Juan Corrida and Celeste Inpax, but after her mother was executed by her father, her memories of them were wiped. Takes on the identity of the man "Adrian Stone" when observing Makoto incognito.
Troia Gavin
The succubus mother of Kristoph Gavin and Konrad Gavin. Though practically an embodiment of sin, she is not an active criminal force like one of her heirs.
Luke Atmey
The Eccentrist. A rogue genius who uses his intellect and technical knowledge to invent tools for the highest bidder. Works mostly for his business partners, like Le Comte du Café Cristo, and employs Lucky and Max as henchmen. Pastimes include self-worshiping and dreaming of having someone who'd worship him the same way.
Diego Armando
Le Comte du Café Cristo. A former military special operative with extensive training who was betrayed in the aftermath of the Borginia Incident. Now an exile and a fugitive, he goes by the pseudonym of Godot, a wealthy underworld businessman and pirate driven by his thirst for revenge.
Lady Sakai
A modern brigand combining the swashbuckling sensibility of a pirate with the underhanded stealth of a ninja, she roams the world in search of precious booty. As a prominent figure in the underworld, she helped Godot get on his feet after his exile, and even learned a thing or two from the former military operative.
Dick Gumshoe
Commissioner Gumshoe. He got his start as a detective, and then became the covert special agent known as the Blue Badger. He is now the leader of both the Police Force and the Blue Badger Corps, and serves as the main link of contact between the police and active superheroes.
Maggey Gumshoe
Formerly Maggey Byrde, an officer who served as the covert special agent known as the Blue Badger. She married Dick Gumshoe, and now assists him in running the Blue Badger Corps.
Jake Marshall
Dusk. Formerly a hero of team SL-6. He's a cowboy, baby. A legendary sharpshooter who mastered using a spirit energy technique called the Fingerbang. When Gant killed his brother, Neil Marshall, Jake went solo. He's now a drifter and a vigilante, friends with no one but the barkeep.
Lana Skye
Icecap. Formerly a hero of team SL-6. She was the right-hand partner of Gant himself, and even though she has retired and returned to the life of a prosecutor, he still holds power over her. Has the magical power to summon and control ice and cold.
Bruce Goodman
Shadow. Formerly a hero of team SL-6. He really is a good man. When Gant was exposed as a villain, Bruce swore to take him down at any cost. However, this wouldn't be a quick or easy task, and he faked his own death to work in secret... even to his love, Angel Starr, lest she become a liability.
Mike Meekins
Cobalt. A speedy, energetic "hero" with little sense of coordination. He dreamed of joining SL-6, but was rejected by Gant. After the team was broken, however, he formed a close partership with former member Bruce Goodman, serving as his contact with the outside world.
Misty Fey
Former head of the Fey clan, a master in Spirit Channeling and a legendary hero of her time wielding the Celestial Staff. She was forced into retirement many years ago and has not been seen since.
Maya Fey
A spirit medium, currently is hiding somewhere in the shadows, most likely searching for long-lost mother, Misty Fey, while planning to stop her aunt, Morgan Fey, from collecting all three Magatamas. She is blessed with heightened spiritual energy thanks to the green magatama, and is a force to be feared. Her only true weakness is the tasty hamburger.
Will Powers
The Steel Samurai. A gentle giant who formerly carried the mantle of the Steel Samurai. He became the caretaker of Pearl Fey and trained her in the Essence of the Bushido. He is sensitive and loves making children happy.
Ron DeLite
Mask DeMasque. Formerly a masked superhero and master thief, and the old rival of the Eccentrist. He has since retired to settle down with his wife, Desirée, start a bike shop, and have a few kids. A bit of a slacker with a fondness for beer.
Desirée DeLite
Triple-D. A superheroine who specialized in various firearms and fast motor vehicles. She retired so she could settle down with her husband, Ronnie, start a bike shop, have a few kids. She still indulges in her favorite hobbies, however.
The Mime Demon
The dark force inhabiting the Mime Demon mask.
Léon
A plush-sized lion with a heart of gold. Former guide and conscience of Regina Berry. Disappeared, possibly lost for good.
Penny Nichols
History teacher at Ivy High and closet superhero fanatic. The only teacher completely aware of Pearl Fey's alter ego as Pink Princess, she strives to help the disciple of her favorite hero, the Steel Samurai. Her greatest opponent is Wendy Oldbag, who continues to raise suspicions about Pearl Fey's frequent "bathroom trips."
Larry Butz
A super dumbass, dumb enough to be fooled into dating Mimi Miney (disguised as her sister Ini), who is only using him to get closer to Pink Princess. An art teacher at Ivy High School, he believes he taught Makoto everything she knows about art. Pretty much has the hots for every female character, unless she's underage or is Wendy Oldbag.
Wendy Oldbag
Extremely old and refusing to take her pension, she continues to work as a security guard for Ivy High School. While neither agile nor strong, she talks faster than anyone else. While usually sticking to the rules, she is an obvious sucker for handsome men, such as Larry Butz, and can is easily distracted by them.
Lisa Basil
As an engineer for the CIA, she's the woman you go to for technological needs. Since retiring from superheroism, Lisa has gone on to work with HoboCop, providing state-of-the-art sophisticated weaponry and gadgetry. Her left arm was severed many years ago, and has received a robotic one, equipped with laser weapons. Supervises Glen Elg.
Glen Elg
A regular human engineer for the CIA, and Lisa Basil's understudy (crossing fingers for "boyfriend"). He is a patient and meticulous man, but has troubles dealing with Hobocop's haphazard curiosity towards sensitive equipment. Unintentionally assisted in Tigre's creation, by donating Phoenix Wright's DNA to Holy Trinity, due to blackmail. Thanks again, Glen!
Romein LeTouse
An Interpol Agent sent from Europe to investigate Hairaiser and the Borginian Cocoons. A large man of few words, trained in using very large guns. Doomed to die at the split-ends of Hairaiser.
Spark Brushel
"Has excessively long and annoying quotes," end quote. Being a talented writer, he decided to partner up with photographer Lotta Hart, in hopes of landing "a front page hit as super as Super Makoto herself," end quote. Is a bit of a fast talker, and can persuade (i.e. annoy) people into granting him access to secret places and information.
Lotta Hart
If you don't watch where you step with this woman, then you might get beaten up Southern style. This photographer extraodinare won't stop at her mission until she accomplishes it (or loses interest). Along with her writing partner, Spark Brushel, she is attempting to land the big scoop: photos of heroine Super Makoto. Relatively ineloquent.
Guy Eldoon
Doctor Eldoon. A doctor who has mastered the Healing Touch technique. He patrols the city in his noodle cart, helping heroes and villains alike recover from particularly brutal fights. He also runs an inner-city clinic focusing on pro-bono work and health insurance advocacy. Apologies to Atlus.
Wesley Stickler
A helpful narrative aid for the audience and useful punching bag for the characters. He possesses the incredible inability to STFU.
