[edit] Biography
[edit] Personality
On the field of battle, around the army and in the face of Manfred von Karma himself, Celeste appeared to be a cold, unshaken woman. She kept her emotions to herself and only cared about completing her work effectively. Celeste is in reality a kind, caring individual who only wants everyone around her to be happy. She rarely opens up to people around her, afraid they would take advantage of her kind nature.
She secretly wanted a child for many years, but the law prevented enlisted military from bearing children.
[edit] Powers and Abilities
Celeste Inpax, unlike her supercharged daughter, was an average human being. Being enlisted in the army since she her teens, Celeste was in top physical condition despite her small stature. Her signature Pulsar Suit 1.5 enhances agility on the battlefield, amplifying strength and speed while also granting the power of flight. Celeste is trained with guns and flying at high altitudes.
[edit] Background
Celeste enlisted in Emperor Von Karma's army at a young age. While many frowned upon her gender, others admired her for her courageousness. She was quickly promoted to Lieutenant of the Flight Commanders. With her own mechanical and engineering skills she crafted and created a flying suit with wings that looked distinctly like butterfly wings (what, she's a girl).
During her off time she came across a young girl in the street begging for food. Celeste kindly offered some bread to the girl and took her back to a local orphanage. The girl seemed frightened of the place, which made Celeste believe something might have been going on. One of the orphanage workers suggested that Celeste should adopt the child if she was so concerned with the girl's well-being.
Unfortunately, while Celeste could adopt the child despite her military status, according to absurd laws of Manfred von Karma's empire, only married couples could adopt. She expressed her woes to long time friend and wingman, Juan Corrida. He proposed to her, stating that though he had never considered marrying Celeste, he would help her so she could adopt Adrian.
They were soon married and adopted the girl Celeste met on the streets, Adrian Andrews.
As a military leader directly serving Emperor Manfred von Karma, Celeste bore witness to his brutal suppression of the superheroes that opposed his rule. She began to question his vision of a perfect world after seeing him trap and kill Lupin II and frame Misty Fey with the hero's death. Eventually, Celeste incited a rebellion, gathering significant support from people inside and outside her military command.
For her treason, the Emperor ordered her husband, Juan Corrida, to execute her.
